Waiting for a New Future (study), 2011, acrylic on canvas, 9x12"
It's hard not to ignore the project list when there isn't a cloud in the sky and the temperature is hovering around 70. So, as usual, I sneaked out with my easel to a spot I noticed the other day. It's a simple composition but the light changes pretty dramatically throughout the day so I'm sure I'll stop there again.
The owner was driving by on a road below and spotted me. She was a very nice lady who seemed to be pleased I was showing interest in, what really is, a nice spot. After a good chat she let me left me to it.
Suddenly I felt a bit of pressure to take my painting outing a bit more seriously.

Beautiful! Good choice. :)
